PT. Bank Victoria Syariah was established for the first time under the name of PT Bank Swaguna based on Deed Number 9 April 15, 1966. Subsequently, PT Bank Swaguna was renamed PT Bank Victoria Syariah in accordance with the Shareholders Decree No. 5 dated 6 August 2009 made before Erni Rohainin SH, MBA, Notary for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta domiciled in South Jakarta. The amendment was approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights based on Decree Number: AHU-02731.AH.01.02 of 2010 dated January 19, 2010, and was announced in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 83 dated October 15, 2010. Finally, the Articles of Association of PT Bank Victoria Syariah were amended by Deed Number 45 dated March 30, 2010 made before Sugih Haryati, SH, MKn as a substitute for Notary Erni Rohaini, SH, MBA, Notary for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta domiciled in South Jakarta. Amendments to the Articles of Association are intended to amend article 10 paragraph 3. These changes have been accepted and recorded in the Sisminbakum database of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights based on Letter Number: AHU-AH.01.10-16130 dated June 29, 2010.

The change in business activities of Bank Victoria Syariah from a Conventional Commercial Bank to a Sharia Commercial Bank has obtained a license from Bank Indonesia based on Bank Indonesia Governor's Decree Number: 12/8 / KEP.GBI / DpG / 2010 dated February 10, 2010. Bank Victoria Syariah began operating with the principle sharia since April 1, 2010. The ownership of Bank Victoria shares in Bank Victoria Syariah is 99.99%
